Job Details

• Outpatient Physical Therapist position at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham.
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
• Shared housing is available with restrictions: no guests or pets, and must have own transportation.
• Current flu vaccine is required.

Job Requirements

• Professional license and/or certification verification required within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
• Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed.
• Documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date or negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot within 3 months.
• Physician health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
• MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months.
• MGB Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months.
• MGB Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
• MGB Skills Checklist required for submission.
• Two recent references, minimum one supervisor or above, in skillset.
• MGB Education Verification through background check company.
• MGB SSN Trace with addresses/aliases for past 7 years.
• MGB National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually.
• MGB Exclusion Checks within 30 days of start and annually.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation if fit test required.

Schedule Information

• Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Additional Details

• MGB MVH Housing Agreement required only if moving into shared MVH housing.
• Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred but optional.
• Tdap vaccine preferred within 10 years and updated upon expiration.
• Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation.
• MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
