The Division of Solid Waste Management is dedicated to ensuring the safe, environmentally responsible, and secure disposal of solid waste for Citrus County residents and businesses. Our services encompass solid waste disposal, recycling, hazardous waste collection, and county-wide litter removal.
The Solid Waste Management Director plans, organizes, develops, and manages the overall day-to-day operations of the Solid Waste Management/Landfill division which includes collection, disposal, transfer, and recycling. Basis of Rating: Some positions may require a written and/or skills test. Applications will be carefully reviewed to assess each individuals’ qualifications.
