Job Description

Physical Security Manager

This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA. Responsible for program management and operation of the Protection Services Department, including physical security systems, vendors, risk and operation management. Serves as secondary leadership to department, championing for high level of ethics, values, and performance. Implementation of physical security policy and procedure related to the protection of assets, employees, clients, financial centers and facilities. Maintains compliance with applicable regulations. Recommends, develops, and coordinates the implementation of physical security programs and training, including the protection of assets, workplace violence prevention, and robbery, burglaries, hostage, and other crisis events.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the program management, efficiency, and effective operation of the Protection Services Department.
  • Develop, implement and manage departmental operational policies and procedures.
  • Oversees the implementation of operational protective services, physical and electronic security.
  • Prepares operational budget, and ensures operations do not exceed budget limits.
  • Evaluates workflows and processes to mitigate risk and increase operational efficiencies.
  • Manages the daily activities of direct reports, guiding and advising subordinates in the more complex functions of their work.
  • Responsible for vendor risk management, vendor performance, and operational management, including requests for proposals, contract documentation and negotiation, contract review.
  • Serves as champion for leadership to Protection Services department through direct oversight of all operational and program management.
  • Oversees all inter-departmental relationships to ensure collaboration on implementation and management of initiatives and ongoing relationships.
  • Coordinate and implements operational physical security initiatives, to provide for the safety and security of all employees, clients, financial centers and other company facilities.
  • Prepare recommendations for implementation of training development and delivery to appropriate audiences.
  • Ensure delivery of annual training to employees based upon their job function.
  • Develops company-wide operational awareness and education campaigns.
  • Responds, investigates and manages crisis and other critical incidents, such as workplace violence, robbery, burglary, larceny. Escalates situations as needed.
  • Coordinates contact with law enforcement and assisting with investigations. Manages incident reporting, preparing and distributing, and records of incidents. Testify in court on behalf of Fulton Bank/Fulton Financial Corporation as necessary. Coordinate programs, initiatives, and activities following a critical incident.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Criminal Justice or related field. (Required)
  • Experience: 5 or more years physical security in financial services/banking, including supervisory experience. (Required)
  • Certifications: Physical Security Professional or Certified Protection Professional. (Preferred)

We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range for this position is $70,600.00 - $117,700.00 annually. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
