Full-Time Guard

Raytheon in State College, PA is seeking a Full-Time Guard for First shift to maintain security of the facility and to ensure a safe environment for employees. You must have the ability to work independently and with a team. This position requires the that you work all three shifts, weekends, and holidays. You must also work overtime as needed.

What You Will Do

1. Operate a security control center by monitoring closed-circuit television, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm and HVAC systems.
2. Respond to alarms and emergencies.
3. Investigate unusual events and suspicious activities.
4. Patrol the facility to inspect access points and conduct equipment, temperature and building checks.
5. Open and close secure areas.
6. Process visitors in and out of the facility.
7. Make reports of violations, incidents, suspicious activities and facilities issues.

Qualifications You Must Have

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
