Job Description

The Denver International Airport is seeking a Maintenance Control Technician to receive and process maintenance work requests and concerns from airlines, tenants and airport personnel at the Maintenance Control Center for the Maintenance Division. The Maintenance Control Technicians receive, interpret, analyze, dispatch and document inbound requests for airport maintenance, including follow-up and customer feedback. You will work in a fast-paced environment managing maintenance requests and inquiries through various channels such as social media, web-based programs, phone calls, emails, and service requests. Your primary role involves generating work orders and directing maintenance teams using radio communication and email. You'll operate multiple computer systems like Maximo, Veoci, Microsoft Office 365, and others (with training provided). You'll also coordinate with airlines, concessionaires, and tenants to resolve maintenance issues. Expect to monitor weather conditions, assist in emergency responses, and ensure the timely completion of work orders. Additionally, you'll create reports, maintain records, and occasionally assist with out-of-office duties as warranted. Duties include documenting maintenance incidents using Veoci, creating work orders and service requests using Maximo, monitoring essential systems such as fire alarms, lift station alerts, runway lighting, and critical sensors, producing computer generated work orders and directing them to proper departments, operating multiple computer systems related to HVAC, fire alarm, fuel force, runway lighting, lift stations, radio antenna towers and security, monitoring and interpreting weather conditions, communicating with all levels within and external to the organization, assisting with access to secured areas, following established protocols for notification and documentation, liaising between reporting parties and maintenance departments, collaborating to improve accountability and communication, recommending continuous improvement methodologies, informing and enforcing airport rules and regulations, and performing other related duties as assigned or requested by management. The position requires graduation from high school or equivalent, two years of experience in construction, mechanical and general facility maintenance skills, and a valid Driver's License at the time of application. Additional education may substitute for experience requirements.
