About the Role : The Global Quality Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines meeting / exceeding industry and company standards and customer requirements. The role focuses on Continuous Improvement and driving a culture of quality within the organization. The Global Quality Manager will play a key role within a cross-functional team and collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Regulatory Compliance and EH&S to foster a culture of excellence, risk management and accountability.

Responsibilities :

  • Developing and Implementing QMS : Responsible for creating and implementing QMS ensuring it aligns with industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Quality Strategy and Planning : Develop and oversee the implementation of quality strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement : Drive a culture of continuous improvement identifying areas for enhancement; Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and economy.
  • Training and Development : Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality.
  • Audits and Inspections : Oversee internal and external audits and inspections to ensure compliance with the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
  • Management Non-Conformances : Manage non-conforming products and processes, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are taken.
  • Reporting and Communication : Provide regular reports on the performance of the QMS to stakeholders; Prepare and present quality reports to management highlighting key metrics and suggesting areas for enhancement.
  • Leadership and Team Management : Lead and manage the quality management team fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Lead Problem-Solving Efforts : Addressing quality issues through root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Staying Informed : Keeping up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the QMS remains effective and compliant.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Align and comply with all company EH&S, CHP plans and policies.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management or related).
  • Advanced degree / Certifications are a plus.

Required Skills :

  • 8+years of proven experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years in a managerial role leading QA, QC / compliance teams.
  • Experience conducting and managing internal and external audits with the ability to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) e.g., ISO9001 is preferred.
  • Six Sigma, ASQ, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance within the agrochemical / agriculture industry, with knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Strong background in identifying and managing quality and compliance risks.
  • Proven skills in leadership, project management, effective delegation, and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Must pass post‐offer background check and other appropriate tests as required.
