Flight attendant jobs are highly desired, and no special schooling or college degree is required as you will be fully trained by United. Starting hourly flight pay of $28.88/hour, with top scale at $67.11/hour: Pay increases with seniority, plus additional compensation for language skills, lead roles, and international trips. Training: 6.5 weeks of training in Houston, TX, covering safety and customer service standards. Upon successful completion, you will be assigned to one of our hubs (Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco, Washington Dulles, or other bases; relocation funds not provided). During training, a $140/week per diem, accommodations, and meals are provided. Proficiencies and Responsibilities: Ensure safety, demonstrate a people-first attitude, adapt to various customer scenarios, maintain professional appearance, operate electronic devices, and be flexible with schedules. Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and pass a functional reach assessment are required. Qualifications: Must be 21+, high school diploma or GED (college preferred), customer service experience, fluent in English and Hebrew, valid passport with 18+ months validity, ability to travel globally, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training and Onboarding: Includes evacuation drills, drug testing, background checks, and medical assessments. Must pass a 10-year background check, including restrictions related to criminal history.
