NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Coordinator, Corporate Events & Hospitality based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office. The Coordinator, Corporate Events & Hospitality manages the planning, coordination, and execution of NASCAR's corporate events and hospitality programs. This role is responsible for administration, operational logistics, guest communications, partner events, and on-site execution, playing a vital role in delivering high-level experiences for industry stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to: Manage and support execution of corporate events and hospitality programs for industry stakeholders. Execute day-to-day logistic planning including travel, hotel room blocks, transportation, ticket/credentialing, catering and gifting programs. Manage guest lists and database, invitation processes and RSVP reporting using tools like Cvent and/or Excel. Serve as an on-site event and hospitality lead or support at select NASCAR events to ensure smooth guest experience and execution of event elements. Work cross-functionally with departments to support and execute event objectives. Manage and develop event documentation including run of shows, agendas/itineraries, event schedules and post event recaps. Lead development of hotel sourcing lists, room blocks, communication and contract negotiations for tentpole events and race weekends. Execute in-suite and hospitality management; including event communication, guest list management, pass distribution, catering, rentals, and on-site hosting. Support budget tracking and development for the department and Corporate Events & Hospitality team. Other duties and projects assigned. Percent of travel required: 30-35%; including weekend travel, short notice travel and periodic heavy and/or multi-day travel Required skills / experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university A minimum of three (3) years of related experience in the sports and/or corporate event industry. Although not required, a reasonable level of exposure and understanding of the sports and/or NASCAR industry is a plus. Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience in various guest management applications a plus. Creative and forward thinker. High level of attention to detail. Professional interaction with internal and external executives and guests. Capabilities to perform and retain composure under high pressure situations. Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, meet deadlines and to work independently. Genuine passion for events. CMP designation or interest in pursuing the CMP designation a plus.
