The Jamaica Bobsleigh Federation (JBF) is the governing body for the sport of bobsleigh in Jamaica. As steward of one of the most well know sports franchises in history, the JBF, seeks primarily to identify, and develop world class bobsleigh athletes from Jamaica, and has as its primary goal, wining an Olympic Gold medal in the event. As part of that mission, the JBF has trademarked and is exploiting its Intellectual Property to provide funding for the team, to build the brand and to enhance the standing of Jamaica’s reputation and tourism product in the wider global community.
Akan Track Club
The objective of Akan Track Club is to nurture track and field athletes who show the potential to become world class elite athletes by developing not only their athletic potential but also by providing them with life skills and maximizing the economic benefit of their athletic accomplishments over time.
